A dream come true. Yesterday we hosted our First Annual Plein Air Event. Professional artists from New Jersey and Pennsylvania came to the farm to paint our lavender and elderberry fields in bloom. It was everything I have dreamed it would be and more.
As an artist myself, it has always been my goal to utilize our farm as a place for other artists to retreat, create artwork, and connect. Watching so many talented professionals painting the landscape we have worked so hard to establish truly touched my heart. I also loved watching them share encouragements throughout the day as they took breaks and visited each other.
