Firewood is a sustainable and renewable energy resource that can be used for heating and cooking purposes. The New Jersey Department of Agriculture recommends purchasing firewood within 50 miles of where it will be burned to reduce the spread of invasive wood pests.
We are so excited to share that our firewood is certified Jersey Grown! What does this mean and why is this important? Jersey Grown Firewood is a program that promotes the availability of locally grown wood products from actively managed forests.
All of the firewood that we timber and process is responsibly harvested directly from our farm. We follow a Woodland Management Plan that helps us to improve and sustain the health of our forest while conserving resources and wildlife. You can feel good about purchasing our firewood to utilize as your renewable energy resource for campfires, outdoor cooking, or to heat your home in the cold winter months.
