5 Delicious Ways to Use Lavender Granola

5 Delicious Ways to Use Lavender Granola

Lavender granola isn’t meant to be a bold or overpowering ingredient. It’s meant to be noticed in a quieter way. Our Lavender Granola was created to add a delicate floral note, balanced by warm cinnamon and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla—something that enhances a dish rather than taking it over.

This is a granola best used as an accent. A small sprinkle goes a long way, adding texture, aroma, and just a hint of sweetness. With our Lavender Granola on sale this month, we wanted to share a few simple ways to enjoy it, along with a cozy recipe to try at home.

What Makes Our Lavender Granola Different

Our Lavender Granola is made with certified gluten-free oats and lightly sweetened with organic golden brown sugar and blue agave nectar. The flavor is warm and familiar, with lavender playing a subtle supporting role rather than the lead. Cinnamon and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla round everything out, making it easy to pair with both sweet and lightly savory foods.

Each 9.5-ounce package contains about two cups, or eight quarter-cup servings. Because the flavor is intentionally balanced, even a small amount can transform a dish.

From Our Fields to Your Kitchen

The lavender used in our granola is grown right here on our family farm. We grow our lavender without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic chemicals, and harvest it carefully for culinary use.

Grown with care, lavender adds a soft aromatic note that works beautifully alongside warm flavors like cinnamon and vanilla. That attention to growing and harvesting is what allows it to blend naturally into food without overpowering it.

A Simple Upgrade for Breakfast

One of the easiest ways to enjoy Lavender Granola is as a finishing touch on breakfast. Sprinkled over yogurt or breakfast bowls and paired with fresh fruit, it adds just enough crunch and aroma to make a familiar routine feel special. Because it’s meant to be used lightly, a spoonful is often all you need.

A Finishing Touch for Smoothie Bowls

Lavender Granola also works beautifully on smoothie bowls. It adds contrast to creamy textures and pairs especially well with berry-based or vanilla-forward blends. The cinnamon and vanilla bring warmth, while the lavender lingers gently in the background.

Baking with a Hint of Lavender

This granola can be baked into muffins, quick breads, or used as a topping for fruit crisps and crumbles. It’s an easy way to introduce lavender into baking without committing to a strongly floral dessert. The result is familiar, cozy, and just a little unexpected.

Elevated Snacking & Entertaining

Lavender Granola fits naturally into snack boards and casual entertaining. A small bowl alongside fresh fruit, soft cheeses, or honey creates an inviting spread that feels thoughtful without being complicated. It’s equally suited for brunch tables, afternoon snacks, or quiet moments at home.

A Cozy Recipe to Try: Baked Apples with Lavender Granola

If you’d like to try Lavender Granola in a warm, comforting recipe, these baked apples are a perfect place to start. The granola adds texture and aroma while the apples provide natural sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)

  • ¼ cup Copper Knoll Farms Lavender Granola

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon butter, divided

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Core the apples, removing the seeds and creating a small hollow in the center of each. Place the apples in a small baking dish.

In a bowl, gently mix the Lavender Granola with the cinnamon. Spoon a small amount of the mixture into each apple, keeping in mind that the granola is meant to be an accent rather than a heavy filling.

Top each apple with a small piece of butter. If you’d like a touch of extra sweetness, drizzle lightly with honey.

Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the apples are tender but still hold their shape. Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes if you’d like a lightly caramelized top.

Serve warm, spooning the natural juices from the pan over the apples.

Make It Your Own

This recipe is intentionally simple and easy to adapt. Try swapping apples for pears, serving the baked fruit with a spoonful of yogurt, or adding a pinch of extra cinnamon if you prefer more warmth. You can also sprinkle a little extra Lavender Granola on top just before serving for added texture.

A Small Addition That Makes a Big Difference

Lavender Granola is on sale this month, making it a great time to try it—or to experiment with new ways to use it. Whether you sprinkle it over breakfast, bake it into a favorite recipe, or enjoy it as a simple snack, we hope it adds something special to your everyday routine.

If you discover a favorite way to use it, we’d love to hear about it.
